My Name is Jennifer
Moon Over Sage was born from two big pieces of my life. It started out as a small crystal collection that my big sis got me into about 25+ years ago. She was Wiccan so she would teach me all the ways I could use crystals in my life and how to feel their energies. It fascinated me so much and that childlike curiosity grew into a full-blown obsession to share these “rocks” with the world. Every crystal born from this beautiful earth can bring so much to your life if you open yourself up to it.

Creating A Legacy
My sister (Meesa) recently passed away from cancer…and while I watched cancer taking over her whole body and eventually her mind too, she stayed positive and strong and fought so hard. She had such a big heart and would do anything for anyone. She raised two beautiful daughters (Katie & Naomi) who I promised to watch over after she was gone. I hope that I can share our love for crystals and all spiritual things with them and pass this legacy on to them when it’s my time to go. I hope this will make my sister proud as she watches over us, knowing that my vision isn’t just for me but something that will eventually be handed down to her girls as well.

The Origin
How did I come up with the name Moon Over Sage? I didn’t…I pondered and pondered for weeks on what I would call my new “crystal business” and I kept coming back to two words each time…Moon and Sage. I’m a strong believer in moon magic. I have a love for all phases of the moon and all the magic it brings with it. And Sage…well that was the name of mine and my husbands first dog (our baby). Yes, she was named after the herb…I had to have that witchy herb that is so cleansing and beneficial in life incorporated into her name. The witch in me just couldn’t resist!

A Beautiful Soul
While we were lucky enough to have Sage in our lives before cancer took her also, she brought us so much joy and happiness. She was the epitome of unconditional love. She is missed every day and I needed to have her somehow incorporated in my business name too so that her memory lived on. As you can see her silhouette is in my logo…she was the prettiest baby and grew into the most beautiful & loving basset hound. Even though she is “gone” now, when I see my logo I cannot help but smile and feel so much love for her.
